Taxonomy and animal facts

Initial records use established public references as a starting point. A production record is not eligible for indexing until its identity, core fields, and factual statements have source attribution and an editorial review.

Images

Wildlife photographs are stored locally for performance and retain their Wikimedia Commons record in the editorial data. Creator and license names remain visible on the animal page. Crops must preserve the subject and comply with the original license.

Corrections

Taxonomy and conservation information change. Use the correction form on any animal profile, or email hello@randomanimalpicker.com with the animal name and a supporting source.
