Taxonomy and animal facts

Initial records use established public references as a starting point. A production record is not eligible for indexing until its identity, core fields, and factual statements have source links and an editorial review.

Images

Wildlife photographs are stored locally for performance and linked back to their Wikimedia Commons record. Creator, license name, and license URL remain visible on the animal page. Crops must preserve the subject and comply with the original license.

Corrections

Taxonomy and conservation information change. Corrections can be sent to hello@randomanimalpicker.com with the animal name and a supporting source.
